Last wedding of the year and it went out with a bang! O M G! Insanely fun wedding with too much details to fit in a blog post. Fantastic vendors, venue and awesome guest ready to partay! You could’t ask for a better day too! Weather was perfect and Allison planned the day out so well that we had no scheduling issues. What? Weird…huh!? Flawless day really. Scott and Allison are perfect together. Scott was so nervous while I was setting up the “first look” and Allison was pretty calm, but I could tell she was nervous too. Scott was on the verge of tears when he saw Allison and I was too! Such a beautiful moment and even though this couple is super silly and extremely funny, they mean business when it comes to love. Enough of my babbling! On with the show!!!

These two crazy kids are awesome! You have probably already seen these two a few blog posts back, when I photographed their engagements. When I booked Elizabeth and Eric, I knew it was going to be an adventure. Their wedding day was high energy and busting at the seams with love and laughter. Rachel and Bill… Married!

I was left speechless when their big day was over. I laughed and I cried during their ceremony. My mind was literally blown. Even right now I struggle to think of how I will talk about how wonderful these two people are and not write a dang book. They are simply that…wonderful. I have never photographed a sunrise wedding and was hesitant to even want to wake up that early. It was worth it. This wedding went off with out a hitch(no pun intended) Rachel was giddy like a little girl on christmas and Bill was anxious to make Rachel his forever. Simply amazing these two! They have such a wonderful community of people that came together to help them celebrate and make this day possible. I did my best to give a few highlights below, but you will just have to watch the dang slideshow because the whole day was a highlight. I have NEVER had so much trouble narrowing down images. Never.lol

If you can’t enough of the decor from this wedding at the you must check out the folk artist Alan Moore and you will find most of his artwork display at the Blue Giraffe in Watercolor off of 30A. It is amazing and partly why I am left speechless. I could not even imagine how he can take scrap metal and form such beautiful works of art. What we consider trash and unusable, Alan envisions how he will use it in his next piece. Gotta love that people. Go check him out. Support your local peeps because that’s the right way to roll.

It’s funny how God lines up everything for you and you don’t even realize it, till it has already happened. He surely lined this all up for me. I was able to photograph this wedding with my beautiful and talented friend Lily. I couldn’t have done it without her. The best part of all of this, is that I walked away with two new friends that I admire very much. Their love is true and beautiful. You could not put two better people together. Thanks Bill and Rachel for allowing us to photograph such a wonderful day. On another side note…if you love the slideshow music…go check out Crystal Yates!

The Mischief Maker…..

This is little B. He likes to get into everything. He has the attention span of a nat(that’s what his Mama said) and I found that out real quick during this session. I don’t mind running around. I normally fall or trip while chasing kids. It’s rather adventurous and probably the closest thing to photographing wild life.lol You have to keep your distance and hope that you can catch all the action. Little B and I go way back like I mean way back when he was in the womb and he was my very first full year project! To explain that better, I photographed Jen when she was pregnant all the way to B’s 1st year.

Jen is my friend and hair artist of 11 yrs now! Yep! She does my hurr and my hurr is always fabulous. I am extremely blessed to have this very talented woman in my life. If you need your hurr did and have been looking for a place to call home, for I don’t know like the next 11yrs like me…go check out As You Like It in Fort Walton Beach. They just won the Emerald Coast Top Salon competition! It was awesome to document the whole day! I can’t wait to share that experience with all of you! Oh my goodness! I have waited all year for this wedding. My friend Amy from Baby and Me Boutique shouts my praises to everyone that enters into her store.When Amy filled me in on the details of her wedding, all she had to do was mention peacock feathers and I was game! Wow! This couple had me laughing all day! I loved getting to know these two! Lisa and Paul are pretty amazing and just pure crazy together. I don’t think there was a dull moment that whole day. This family was celebrating such a wonderful time in everyone’s lives! Birthdays, births and just loving life is what this session was about. This is the first time this family has ever had beach portraits taken and they own a vacation home in Destin! How did I miss these folks in the past! This family did wonderful coordinating their outfits. I love color on the beach! I think they did pretty dang good during this session and I enjoyed every minute photographing them. Eden State Park Photographer Engagement Session

I love this girl! Amy has become such a great friend and I was so very honored when she asked me to photograph her wedding. Amy owns Baby and Me Boutique and if you haven’t been…you must go! She is a very smart business woman and is super kind to all of her customers. I just photographed her bridals and I wish I could post them, but we can’t give away the awesomeness of her fabulous dress and accessories. This engagement session was a little nutty! We raced to get to Eden State Park to meet Kyle and we only had 45mins to get everything. I think I did pretty good under the pressure and these two were absolutely hilarious. I love the way he looks at her and I love how she crinkles her nose when she smiles at him. Gah! Sooo romantic! Stay tuned for their fabulous wedding! Enjoy!
