Tiffany and Chris – Crestview Florida

Come One! Come All!

This wedding was amazing to be apart of and my first carnival themed wedding! Another first for me was shooting at a new venue that was just opened up for events this past year. Funny thing is…is that I have passed this beautiful house since I was 12 always stating that I would love to live there one day and 15yrs later I was able to shoot a beautiful wedding at the Jernigan House

Tiffany wanted every part of her special day to be unique and fun.   They had popcorn popping and the smell of cotton candy was in the air. All of the bridesmaids wore different styled black dresses and fabulous multi colored shoes of their choice! The groomsmen wore suspenders with bow ties and newsboy caps….with the exception of Paddy who had to wear a sweater vest, but the squeaky wheel always gets the grease right?!(I kid..I kid)  Paddy and Lily actually approached me to shoot this wedding a few months ago and of course I was honored that they would chose me to photograph their best friends wedding. You should go check out their work…their pretty dang awesome and drop dead sexy.

Well, back to the details…..another first for me was during the ceremony they opened up part of it to praise and worship. Ugh…yea..pretty amazing and such a beautiful moment.  This wedding was a beautiful celebration of two people coming together along with their family and friends. Congrats Tiffany and Chris!  On with the show…

It’s not a double rainbow, but it is still pretty neat how it showed up. :)

Toni and Sam Florida Wedding Photographer

Toni and Sam have tied the knot!  The weather was beautiful and the location was very unique.  This particular plantation has never hosted a wedding so I was excited to check it out.  Toni and Sam wanted a low key fun wedding with no fuss.  Toni wore a fabulous knee length dress and Sam was able to do what a lot of grooms do not get to do…wear what he wanted! Yes…you read that right..Toni let him decide what he wanted to wear.  This is rare folks.lol Enough talk and on with the show. Congrats Toni and Sam! Thank you for allowing us to be apart of your special day.

Senior Portrait Destin Photographer

I met Ashlyn when she was about 8yrs old and now she is graduating high school! Let me fill you in on how opposite she is from a lot of teenagers her age. :) Ashlyn has always been pretty mature for her age and has always been super helpful with her little brother. Sometimes it’s hard to entertain your little brother or take him around places, but she has a very motherly instinct and wouldn’t have it any other way. She is super responsible and makes her parents very proud. Ashlyn also participates on a regular basis with the children’s ministry at the church and that again is a rare thing because I don’t even wanna hang out with kids that much.lol SOOOO….yea…she really deserves a lot of fun shoots to mark this special time in her life. She will be off to college before we all know it and greatly missed.

This is the first part of her session…we have some great stuff planned after I birth this child. I see lots of mud and trucks involved in my future. ;) I haven’t really been “mudding” before so this should be interesting..I am sure I will have a blog post about it and some crazy photos to put up when were done. Enjoy the slide show! :)

PS. Can ANYONE in the family…Tell me where the heck she gets that cute smirk of hers? I had to break her of it several times.lol I added one of those photos to the slide show..I am sure she will love me for it…pitty she chose me to do her portraits..I can do whatever I want..mwahahaha!

Jordan and Annalisa Florida Wedding Photographer

Jordan and Annalisa …Married!

I met Jordan and Annalisa a few months back through my very good friend.  My friend has a way of convincing me to do just about anything for her and it just so happens Jordan is her brother-in-law and she decided to give them an extremely generous gift…me….just messing…she hired me to shoot their wedding. :)  So.. I was 7mths pregnant photographing this wedding on a Friday in August…I was pretty much not taking a whole lot of work because of the heat and my beautiful figure was ever so changing. ;)  Of course getting to know these two made it all worth it.

Jordan is going into the military soon and they wanted to be able to get married in front of all of their friends and family.  Everything took place inside which was great because of the heat. ;)    Annalisa wore a beautiful gown and for her something old she wore her grandmothers pearls…which was such a beautiful moment for her grandmother to help her put them on.  Of course any wedding day can be a little hectic, but Annalisa kept her calm and of course Jordan like most grooms didn’t let it phase him a bit. These two are very relaxed and comfortable with one another…almost seasoned pros at this whole being together forever business. ;)

The rain would come and go so we had very little time to take photos of just the two of them. We decided that we would meet up when they got back from their honeymoon to do a session.  I have included a few highlights from the wedding and the awesome session we had after. To Jordan and Annalisa…May every day you spend together be even better than the last. Congrats!

Andy and Tamara Destin Wedding Photographer

You might remember this wild and crazy couple from an engagment session I did a few months back. WELL, guess what?! Hooray! Andy and Tamara are now married and it was an awesome day! Every little detail was sassy and fabulous! From the hot pink tulle dresses with super sassy converses for the beautiful flower girls to the pink feathers in Tamara’s birdcage veil. Yes, birdcage veils are my fave and I totally could have danced a little jig over it. :) The day was so stress free compared to most weddings and it was just  one great big celebration! I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to work with and I just felt so honored to capture those moments for them. I love capturing how much fun everyone had and Andy can’t be too serious… so you will see his awesome humor through these photos and Tamara’s sassyness. ;) Well, I won’t write a book, but I will let my little slideshow tell you their story. ;)
