Family Session Panama City Beach Florida

I love showing up to a portrait session with a large family and they give me those looks. You know…those looks like “I don’t know how your going to photograph all of us with these kids?!” type looks.lol I have a few tricks up my sleeve and I love a good challenge!  It was a blast hanging out with this tight knit group. It is so nice to see such a strong family bond. You could feel how much this family loved one another. I will admit that the dark clouds all around us had me nervous because the radar said it was clear of rain, but it’s Florida right?!lol I think the darks clouds made everything stand out and to me the beach was a perfect back drop for this fun family! I hope you enjoy taking a look at this beautiful family as much as I enjoyed photographing them.

Twin Beach Session Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

My first double mint shoot! No, not really, but these ladies could totally be in that commercial! Remember those? I had a blast photographing these two beautiful sisters! They share the same birthday as me and pretty much love to laugh just as much as I do. ;) This was a very important session marking their first shoot as TEENAGERS! Wow! Yea, remember those times? Crazy! These beautiful girls are so stinking talented and so is their Mama. Their Mama is Brenda from As You Like It  Salon and Spa and I know you have heard me talk about this fabulous salon before!  I suggest you take a trip to this fabulous place and treat yourself to a day of beauty. Thank you ladies for allowing me to take part in such a special time in your lives! You two still had me laughing while going through your images. Enjoy!

Tiffany and Chris – Crestview Florida

Come One! Come All!

This wedding was amazing to be apart of and my first carnival themed wedding! Another first for me was shooting at a new venue that was just opened up for events this past year. Funny thing is…is that I have passed this beautiful house since I was 12 always stating that I would love to live there one day and 15yrs later I was able to shoot a beautiful wedding at the Jernigan House

Tiffany wanted every part of her special day to be unique and fun.   They had popcorn popping and the smell of cotton candy was in the air. All of the bridesmaids wore different styled black dresses and fabulous multi colored shoes of their choice! The groomsmen wore suspenders with bow ties and newsboy caps….with the exception of Paddy who had to wear a sweater vest, but the squeaky wheel always gets the grease right?!(I kid..I kid)  Paddy and Lily actually approached me to shoot this wedding a few months ago and of course I was honored that they would chose me to photograph their best friends wedding. You should go check out their work…their pretty dang awesome and drop dead sexy.

Well, back to the details…..another first for me was during the ceremony they opened up part of it to praise and worship. Ugh…yea..pretty amazing and such a beautiful moment.  This wedding was a beautiful celebration of two people coming together along with their family and friends. Congrats Tiffany and Chris!  On with the show…

It’s not a double rainbow, but it is still pretty neat how it showed up. :)

Jordan and Annalisa Florida Wedding Photographer

Jordan and Annalisa …Married!

I met Jordan and Annalisa a few months back through my very good friend.  My friend has a way of convincing me to do just about anything for her and it just so happens Jordan is her brother-in-law and she decided to give them an extremely generous gift…me….just messing…she hired me to shoot their wedding. :)  So.. I was 7mths pregnant photographing this wedding on a Friday in August…I was pretty much not taking a whole lot of work because of the heat and my beautiful figure was ever so changing. ;)  Of course getting to know these two made it all worth it.

Jordan is going into the military soon and they wanted to be able to get married in front of all of their friends and family.  Everything took place inside which was great because of the heat. ;)    Annalisa wore a beautiful gown and for her something old she wore her grandmothers pearls…which was such a beautiful moment for her grandmother to help her put them on.  Of course any wedding day can be a little hectic, but Annalisa kept her calm and of course Jordan like most grooms didn’t let it phase him a bit. These two are very relaxed and comfortable with one another…almost seasoned pros at this whole being together forever business. ;)

The rain would come and go so we had very little time to take photos of just the two of them. We decided that we would meet up when they got back from their honeymoon to do a session.  I have included a few highlights from the wedding and the awesome session we had after. To Jordan and Annalisa…May every day you spend together be even better than the last. Congrats!

Her Journey…. Florida Photographer

Recenlty I was honored to photograph a  beautiful woman of God.  Dianne needed headshots for her blog and business cards.  I was happy to help and we had so much fun!   Aside from writing her blog and being VERY active in the different ministries at church..she is just a sassy gal who loves the finer things in life and knows how to put an outfit together! It is comforting to know that you are exactly where God wants you and I understand her passion for fufilling His purpose. She is such a talented writer  and she is the first to give God all the glory for that and I admire her greatly. Please go check out her blog!
