Tiffany and Chris – Crestview Florida

Come One! Come All!

This wedding was amazing to be apart of and my first carnival themed wedding! Another first for me was shooting at a new venue that was just opened up for events this past year. Funny thing is…is that I have passed this beautiful house since I was 12 always stating that I would love to live there one day and 15yrs later I was able to shoot a beautiful wedding at the Jernigan House

Tiffany wanted every part of her special day to be unique and fun.   They had popcorn popping and the smell of cotton candy was in the air. All of the bridesmaids wore different styled black dresses and fabulous multi colored shoes of their choice! The groomsmen wore suspenders with bow ties and newsboy caps….with the exception of Paddy who had to wear a sweater vest, but the squeaky wheel always gets the grease right?!(I kid..I kid)  Paddy and Lily actually approached me to shoot this wedding a few months ago and of course I was honored that they would chose me to photograph their best friends wedding. You should go check out their work…their pretty dang awesome and drop dead sexy.

Well, back to the details…..another first for me was during the ceremony they opened up part of it to praise and worship. Ugh…yea..pretty amazing and such a beautiful moment.  This wedding was a beautiful celebration of two people coming together along with their family and friends. Congrats Tiffany and Chris!  On with the show…

It’s not a double rainbow, but it is still pretty neat how it showed up. :)

Toni and Sam Florida Wedding Photographer

Toni and Sam have tied the knot!  The weather was beautiful and the location was very unique.  This particular plantation has never hosted a wedding so I was excited to check it out.  Toni and Sam wanted a low key fun wedding with no fuss.  Toni wore a fabulous knee length dress and Sam was able to do what a lot of grooms do not get to do…wear what he wanted! Yes…you read that right..Toni let him decide what he wanted to wear.  This is rare folks.lol Enough talk and on with the show. Congrats Toni and Sam! Thank you for allowing us to be apart of your special day.

Newborn Portraits

I love chubby babies. I could basically sum up the whole blog post and just tell you that chubby babies steal my heart. Don’t worry if you come to me and your baby isn’t chubby…I will steal whatever sugar they have, but I am a little partial to the chubby one’s because my first born was Mr. Chubb. ;) I had the pleasure of photographing this little stud just the other day and he is a little chunk. He has the most beautiful little lips and the best “serious” face I have ever seen on a newborn. It was the best! He stayed wide awake during the whole photo shoot, but Mama told me he fell asleep on the way home.lol What a ham for the camera! I tend to not spend hours trying to put a baby to sleep…if they don’t wanna fall asleep in the first 20mins…then I move on. ;) He was super alert and if that’s how he rolls…then I can roll with it. :) I am so very excited for the next session I have with this beautiful family. I cannot wait to meet Little F’s big brother!

Senior Portrait Destin Photographer

I met Ashlyn when she was about 8yrs old and now she is graduating high school! Let me fill you in on how opposite she is from a lot of teenagers her age. :) Ashlyn has always been pretty mature for her age and has always been super helpful with her little brother. Sometimes it’s hard to entertain your little brother or take him around places, but she has a very motherly instinct and wouldn’t have it any other way. She is super responsible and makes her parents very proud. Ashlyn also participates on a regular basis with the children’s ministry at the church and that again is a rare thing because I don’t even wanna hang out with kids that much.lol SOOOO….yea…she really deserves a lot of fun shoots to mark this special time in her life. She will be off to college before we all know it and greatly missed.

This is the first part of her session…we have some great stuff planned after I birth this child. I see lots of mud and trucks involved in my future. ;) I haven’t really been “mudding” before so this should be interesting..I am sure I will have a blog post about it and some crazy photos to put up when were done. Enjoy the slide show! :)

PS. Can ANYONE in the family…Tell me where the heck she gets that cute smirk of hers? I had to break her of it several times.lol I added one of those photos to the slide show..I am sure she will love me for it…pitty she chose me to do her portraits..I can do whatever I want..mwahahaha!

A Year in The Making Destin Photographer

A year in the making is right. Well, more then a year obviously..Little B was snuggled tight in his Mama’s belly for 9mths before he made his grand entrance. Did I ever expect to meet the 3rd cutest child in the world? No, I sure didn’t besides my own two fellas…the one that is running around and the one still in the oven(okay that didn’t sound right, but you get me..right?) I can honestly say Benny comes in 3rd place easily. ;) I have had the honor and the privilege to photograph Jen when she was pregnant with this stud and every 3mths we got together to snap some photos of this little beast. :)

This is my opinion of an ideal client…if they were my friends before I photographed them and their children…sweet, but if we can become friends by me capturing those awesome memories…….that’s what I want to accomplish. I want to be a family’s photographer 4-life.. I want to be your Uncle Bob…okay..Aunt Bob, but with a better camera and little nuttier. ;)

I hope you enjoy this session as much as I did. I always get emotional and cry over photos, but I rarely laugh out loud…these photos…yea..LOL’ed big time. Yes, maybe the red cupcake wasn’t the best idea, but we still think it’s pretty hilarious.  Since I don’t use copyrighted music without permission..I found this band to put on the slideshow…enjoy the crazy music with the super sweet guitar solos. :P
